Fantastic captures! I think Hooded Mergansers are so very beautiful. Terrific behavioral shots! I always have a difficult time photographing these stunning ducks as they are so very shy. I can see you had no problem at all. Outstanding!
Thanks Julie. These boys have their party clothes on for sure. I’m fortunate in that the Rio Grande Nature Center has built large blinds on two different ponds, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to get nearly so close. Happy you like the photos! 🙂
