I’ve been waiting to see these. I’m not the only procrastinator
Nice photos of a sweet bird. I like the BIF shot!
Oh Scott you are so, so right. I have several blog posts in process that I don’t seem to be able to finish. Happy you like the Rosie photos. I tried to post close shots of all 3 species. I should have posted a Hepburn’s too.
Outstanding shots, Linda!
Thank you Jann. I think that the Rosies are gorgeous. I know I’m fortunate to live where I can see them easily.
Beautiful shots! This is a new bird to me. Great job!
Thank you Beverly. I’m happy that you like the photos. The Rosy-Finches are generally found above 10,000 feet, so I don’t suppose that you would find them in in Alabama.
I wish we had these birds here, they are beautiful
I agree Mia. They’re lovely. You and your camera will have to come to NM to photograph them!
Another new one for me, too. Lovely shots, Linda.
Thank you Bob. Sandia Crest is one of the few places in the US where you can see all 3 species of Rosy-Finches. You really should come and take a look at them! And some photos of course. . .
Fantastic shots of birds I have yet to see! Clearly, we need to swap homes for a month or so…:-)
Happy you like the photos, Pat, and that’s not a bad idea at all. You do like dogs, right?
What a pretty bird, I have never seen one! Beautiful in flight photo..!!
They are really gorgeous Cindy, and thanks for the compliment. Wish you could see them!
I would love to see one of these beauties! Stunning close-ups, Linda! So very detailed.
Oh I wish that you could see them Julie. They are so incredibly gorgeous! Happy that you like the photos!
I love the colors. Cant wait to see these someday! Hoping to stop by next winter.
Thank you Lovely Dawn. They really are incredibly beautiful birds! I can’t wait to show them to you!
WoW! Super, cool, all kinds of Finches! Lucky you, Linda! The House Finches and American Goldfinches arrived last week, here in Kansas
Thank you so much Cindy! We have House Finches all year and Lesser Goldfinches all winter. The American Goldfinches should be arriving next month!
Gorgeous shots Linda, never seen these birds.
Thank you so much Dan. You’re going to have to make another trip to NM in winter so that you can see them!
Beautiful photos. Still need that bird for my life list.
The thing is . . . there are three of them, four if you count the Hepburn’s race. You should plan a trip to NM!
I can’t wait to see these Rosy Finches. May just have to make it your way sooner rather then later
You definitely should do that Andrew. It’s getting a bit late in the year for them now. I’m going to try to get up there this week and see how many are still there.
