Thank all of you for your kind comments. These are such beautiful birds. I was surprised and amazed to see more than 50 of them foraging in a flooded area in the far South Valley. It was an amazing sight!

Wow! You are lucky … we had one in a flooded field reported here in DeKalb last week, I unfortunately did not get to see it. They are beautiful.
