Wow! You got some great shots!!!
Wow! Great captures!
Wonderful photos!!
Harris Hawks are awesome. I used to have a pair that hung out together on the power poles near my home when I lived in Mesa, AZ. I’ve never seen any other Harris Hawks and I kind of miss my old neighbors. Thanks for sharing the photos!
Those Harris’s Hawks are beautiful. Did you take any video? I’d love to hear what those bells on the legs sound like. Nice shots!
Good thought Scott. Wish I’d done some video. The tinkle of the small bells as the birds fly is quite charming, and it is a good way to know when they are taking off when you’re looking through a camera.
Thank you all for your comments. The hawks are gorgeous, and I was fortunate to be able to photograph them in such a friendly environment.
Beautiful, Linda.
Such strikingly colored birds.
Aren’t they just? It was such a treat to be able to get really close to such gorgeous birds!
Greeat images..I’m glad I discovered your blog! Kudos from Texas!
Thanks John. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to photograph the Harris Hawks!
