Another Murder in Downtown Albuquerque

Cooper's Hawk and White-winged Dove

In answer to a steadily diminishing number of requests I have started a WordPress blog so that I can share my bird photos. Hope you enjoy them! This photo shows the murder of a White-winged Dove by a Cooper’s Hawk that took place right outside my office window.

Good photo and I don’t envy the White-winged Dove. Best of luck with your new blog. (What happened to the widget allowing me to subscribe by email?)

  2. Great shot. We have Cooper’s Hawks in NYC, too, along with kestrels, peregrines, red-tails and the occasional eagle. Red-tails are nesting all over Manhattan right now, keeping in check our pigeons, rats and squirrels.

Good luck with your new blog. Your photos look great.

  3. Good luck with the blog!

  4. I am glad you started this blog and I look forward to your great photos.
